The 16th Scientific Conference of the African Academy of Sciences (AAS) will bring together researchers, policymakers, development partners, industry leaders and other stakeholders to share emerging research, strengthen partnerships and advance science, technology and innovation across Africa. The conference will also explore opportunities to strengthen investment in African research and innovation, while connecting scientific priorities with the continent’s development and prosperity goals.
Hosted in Tanzania, the conference will highlight the continent’s growing contribution to science, technology and innovation and provide a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange and new investment in African science.
