About the Annual Forum

The Forum is the network’s legacy initiative and Africa’s annual convening for policymakers, air quality experts, industry leaders, academics, media and civil society organisations, fostering knowledge sharing, collaboration, and cross-border partnerships to address air pollution in African cities.

This year’s forum, set for July 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya, marks the third successive edition, following successful convenings in Kampala, Uganda (2023) and Lagos, Nigeria (2024).
“The forum is about the most technical gathering of experts on the subject of clean air in Africa. As a continent, it helps us collaborate effectively. It also fosters sharing competence, knowledge and expertise across the board”
