The Department of Community Health and Behavioural Sciences at Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) is delighted to host a guest lecture on a critical public health issue: “Air Pollution and Health: Health Effects, Challenges, and Opportunities for Research.”
Dr. Pallavi Pant, PhD, Head of Global Health at Boston’s Health Effects Institute, will deliver this thought-provoking lecture. Dr. Pant is a renowned expert with over a decade of experience in air pollution research and public engagement, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
Chairing the session will be Dr. Lynn Atuyambe, Associate Professor at Makerere University School of Public Health and a leading researcher in environmental and occupational health.
