Unlocking climate health equity
The Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the 28th Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 28) to continue rallying global efforts and commitments to effectively address the challenge of climate change.
Tackling air pollution is synergistic with climate action. COP28 is special because, for the first time in the history of COP, the global health community will have a dedicated health day to deliberate health in the context of climate change.
Since COP26, we have progressively witnessed more forums dedicated to air quality, and we hope these efforts can continue raising the profile of air quality and climate health. In this vein, we are consolidating all air quality-related events and activities at COP28. We invite you to register any planned events for increased visibility within the air quality community. If there are any changes to your events, get in touch directly at events@airqo.net.
