In 2024, the Lagos State Government, through LAMATA, institutionalised an annual conference on sustainable urban mobility to serve as a knowledge hub for key stakeholders at the national and sub-national levels in Nigeria.
This year, the International Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility (SUMConference25) will be held from October 8-10, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Ikeja-Lagos, Nigeria.
The theme for the 2025 International Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility shall be: “Harnessing Clean Urban Transport Innovation and Investment in Africa”.
