September 26, 2025

Virtual Event

The transportation sector is a major source of air pollution in many cities across Africa. Motorisation rates are rapidly increasing across Africa, and in the absence of targeted policies and interventions, this can result in worsening of air quality with impacts on people’s health.

The goal of the webinar is to highlight progress in relation to the rapidly transforming mobility landscape in African cities, including regional and local interventions. The session will also identify opportunities for future efforts aimed at achieving the triple benefits of improved productivity, clean air, and health and well-being.
