The Africa Science Diplomacy Conference (ASDC) provides a platform for diverse partners to explore the role of science diplomacy in advancing collaboration and sustainable development across Africa.
The inaugural conference will focus on strengthening cooperation at the intersection of science, technology, innovation and international relations, while promoting evidence-informed policymaking and partnerships to address shared challenges.
The conference is scheduled for 30th November to 1st December and hosted by the South African Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) through the Science Diplomacy Capital for Africa (SDCfA) platform.
Call for Session Proposals: Stakeholders are invited to submit proposals for sessions that contribute to the conference themes and advance dialogue on science diplomacy in Africa. The due date is 31st August, 2026.
